This is a shot from a recent corporate job for BankLink. I popped over to Dural to see Melissa, the owner of Fit Kidz, to get some shots in situ to accompany a testimonial for the client.
My job was to follow some specific photographic guidelines the bank needed in the creation of brochures and websites. So where the owner is placed in the frame is determined by mastheads and bylines. I removed a lot of “clutter” in the room, walked furniture around, replaced some toys with others, tried children in frame and out, shuffled more toys around.
Even with all that done there was still the requirement to make more things disappear, the light switch and the children’s paintings being the main things. The final photoshopped image is the one that then gets used in the advertising.
