We continue to be very busy. I feel we’ve been doing 7 day working weeks at the moment. Having a great time doing lots of video work. Treating that much like the photo’s. Finding the right looking scene and keeping the camera locked off. And doing quite a bit of time lapse which is just fascinating cause we suddenly see the patterns in nature and the manmade environment. At normal human speed we take our everyday scenes for granted, but when it’s sped up or slowed down, we see displays of great beauty.
Definition of a good day? Photographing two beautiful girls. But of course!
Abi (in the second photo) and Jacqui (this first shot) are both very good, life long friends. It was easy to tell cause they kept talking to each other very happily. Lots of laughter too.
We probably shot some of this too late in the evening cause it got dark very quickly but it gave us cause to look for lots of little illuminated spots around the back of the Rocks area. So we made some great discoveries in the back streets. Little places that take take you back to Ruth Park novels…
Favourite shot? For me, it’s the one with the two of them sitting on a wall back-to-back.
