Castlereagh Hall is to the north of Penrith. It immediately backs onto a very beautiful property near the foothills of the Blue Mountains, that are just over the river, acting as the wider landscape. Stepping out of the car and scanning the immediate surrounds backed by that beautiful view is quite breathtaking.
In the morning, Nikita got ready at home surrounded by her bridesmaids. Different people called in throughout, dropping off flowers, arriving back from the hairdresser, dropping off a pageboy, grandparents calling in. It made for a full and happy house as the day’s preparations continued right up to the point of leaving. Nikita rounded the back corner of the hall itself and walked to Brandon, arm in arm with her mother.
Brandon and Nikita, and their family and friends, stood beneath the shade of the large tree for their wedding ceremony. Their vows to each other amplified with that beautiful scenery around them, especially with large storm clouds gathering on the mountains.
After the ceremony and family photographs the bridal party went through the gates of the horse property that sits behind the hall. The tree lined driveway there offered a lovely backdrop.
A lovely casual afternoon tea was served inside the hall, which had been decorated by the families with lots of little touches that personalised Brandon and Nikita’s day. Nikita’s father drove Brandon and Nikita away in his beautifully restored car. We met up on the riverbank at the back of Penrith for a few extra images, taking adverting of the colours of the afternoon light.
We wish them much happiness!
