Kelly, Teela, Sherilyn (as seen in descending order) headed down from the Blue Mountains for a Concord portrait session, for a “girls only shoot-out” (always good to put a bit of competition in these things, don’t you think!?).
Teela is the common link for the girls (and what a great Doctor Who companion name she has) – best friends with Kelly and cousin of Sherilyn.
They all look different (the diversity of prettiness is wonderful) and they all did so very well as models for the day.
I often ask if people have done anything like this before – with the girls it was a surprise to hear “no!”. The photos, especially amongst the bamboo, and beside the broken window are very model-like. And that shot of Kelly, I’ve already printed for my own purposes (A2 size), and it looks fantastic (capitals – FANTASTIC!).
Ultimately, one of the reasons for taking a photo is to put it on paper. The one-hour lab you’re used to has nothing on the print quality we’re used to seeing. And it’s photos like this that deserve to be seen printed well.
Hope you like the shots Teela, Sherilyn and Kelly!
