Kurt and Shreya marry in a splash of colour at Gunners' Barracks

Actually it was also a splash of rain cause this was also the week we’d had quite a lot of it in Sydney. And then, just as Shreya walked down the aisle to stand beside Kurt, they were blessed with a very jolly splash of sun right up until they needed to sign the paperwork.

Another wonderful wedding at Gunners’ after a morning start at Killara at Shreya’s family home.

Many of her Indian relatives were gathered around her as she got ready with her beautiful bridesmaids. Family had travelled from the four corners of the globe to celebrate the wedding overlooking our ridiculously beautiful harbour.

Kurt and Shreya had a really lovely service which was intensely personal and made memorable by the evident delight of their witnesses.

One of my favourite moments happened just at the end as Shreya’s father gave Kurt a hug. I believe it hadn’t happened before!
