Ed, UK born and bred, and Amanda, Central Queensland, met in the UK while Amanda worked in London. They clicked and love was born. We’d like to share some of their Peppers Craigieburn wedding photos with you. They made the exceptionally big decision to live in Sydney – to truly begin their new life together. I’m always reminded how strong parents, brothers and sisters have to be when their child or sibling moves such a big distance, often going years without seeing each other face-to-face.
Ed and Amanda gave each other gifts for the day. I think Amanda gave Ed a musical instrument (banjo??) given Ed’s talent with stringed instruments, and Ed’s gift to Amanda was an engraved bracelet “You are my anchor”. Engraved on the inside “And I love anchors”!
It was a real treat to again be at a wedding where Mel, from Forever Makeup, was beautifully doing her fantastic work.
Weddings are always beautiful in the Southern Highlands and Craigieburn offers more than its share of beauty. A soft light washed over everything throughout the misty, cloudy and rainy day, but unfortunately meant that their planned outdoor wedding in the front garden had to be held indoors. But saying “I do” anywhere is special.
Congratulations Ed and Amanda. We wish you a wonderful life together.
