This exploration of Sydney continues apace. Aldrich and Joanne had suggested Strickland House, a venue they’d very seriously considered for their ceremony, understandably so (they eventually went for the equally beautiful Sergeants Mess). A beautiful building on a bright and sunny Sydney day, showing off it’s magnificent grandeur.
Like so much of Sydney, the beauty in this spot is not limited to the building but also to the surrounds and parkland that drop onto the Sydney Harbour, our jewel in the crown.
We wandered around here for a couple of hours as the sun dropped at the back of our city. Joanne and Aldrich held each other in the glow of its incredible light, a double serving bouncing off the very clear waters of Sydney Harbour.
