To end 2014 all our December weddings were really similar in one regard. They were all small and intimate celebrations, throwing the emphasis, from a photographic perspective onto family and the couple themselves. And it was really lovely. A beautiful Sydney family wedding.
It didn’t change the nervousness that the couples felt, nor the excitement. It didn’t change preparations, or the lead-in to choosing a dress, suit, shoes, the organisation of hair and make-up and all the other things that make up larger guests. What it showed was couples taking great delight in sharing as much time as they could with their immediate families.
Jamie and Jennifer elected to have their family wedding at home and the local church. All preparation and an after-ceremony reception were done at Warrawee. The ceremony was at St Swithuns Anglican Church at Pymble.
We did some shots in the local park just down the road from the church. A simple and beautiful way to begin their new family together. Congratulations Jamie and Jennifer!
