My cousin in law Liz keeps trying to explain cousinly connections to me. I still don’t have it all worked out. So either Alannah is my second cousin or my first cousin once removed or something quite similar. Needless to say it’s easy to see that great beauty runs in the family and that Brendan is marrying someone very special because, you know, love and such like stepped into their lives.
It was all “formalised” when they made a visit to see Brendan’s brother overseas. And that allowed them the opportunity to have a New York engagement (meanwhile I still think Sydney was a good place to get engaged. Or, at least, a conveniently close location…). We did their Newcastle engagement session along the coastline which also took in the rather extraordinary Anzac boardwalk at the top of Merewether Beach. I think we had quite a bit of fun doing this and my enjoyment of the session increased when I made them run…
