Adrian (left in first image) and Ben have been friends since they were little. And it was real fun to be with these two. They share a humour and a willingness for fun that was very refreshing.
We met in town on a Sunday afternoon and took some photo’s in and around Martin Place and beyond. The city has a very different feel on the weekend, the bustle is replaced by a languid feel, the veneer of fast business by drawn out coffee’s. The light and the feel of the city was clean, the sun still insistently pushing past the towers, still warm, still golden.
There’s definitely a different feel to shooting males, who so often tend to reservation and awkwardness in front of a camera. But not Ben and Adrian, who are complete naturals in front of the camera. Thanks for being so generous in the face of experimentation!
