Paula looks like the classical epitome of the beautiful bride – very refined, while Matt is the cream swallowing cat… It was a Cataract Dam Wedding, a location I’d never seen before. If you live overseas it’s just as you’d imagine Australia to be. It’s the bush, and water, and old buildings, and sandstone, and miles of Eucalyptus trees. It’s about half an hour past Campbelltown on the south side of Sydney.
A couple of my favourite photo’s – the two grandmothers with Paula’s father – such lovely hand gestures! The Indian group was walking past looking at the dam and I asked them to quickly pop into a photo with Paula – she looks slightly surprised in the photo cause I don’t think she could believe I’d done that. The Indians always bring a lot of colour with them! And I also like that photo of Paula kicking her leg out – the little moment of joy, a realisation that at that moment all is right in the world.
