This is the first wedding day for Vi and Yuki. They are having more than one wedding both here and in China so there’s plenty for them to look forward to this year (and for the rest of their lives together of course).
This was the first wedding I’ve done at the NSW Births, Deaths and Marriages Office at Regent Street, Sydney.
They, and their witnesses, get ushered into a small and lovely room where the celebrant does the official duties. Their witnesses included family on both sides including Yuki’s parents who had flown in from China. I don’t speak a word of Chinese but I can still tell the look of happiness and love!
After the marriage we did a few family photos at Hyde Park and Mrs Macquarie’s Chair. The big party doesn’t happen until later. So for now here is a taste of their first wedding day.
